WASHINGTON - Nearly all air travelers entering the U.S. will be required to show passports beginning Jan. 23, including returning Americans and people from Canada and other nations in the Western Hemisphere.

[link]

That's going to be a mess. People don't realize how long it takes to get a passport processed, so they're going to leave it till the last minute, then shriek when they can't go on their vacation to Mexico. I guess I won't be visiting anybody in Canada anytime soon, I sure can't find a spare $97 for a passport just now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Thanks connie - that's good to know. Guess I should get a passport soon (to avoid the rush).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cafepress is driving me batshit. Two images of equal size and resolution, one for front of the ash grey shirt, and one for the back. But the writing on the back is much smaller.

Two images exported to PNG with the same settings. Cafepress filters one out as incompatible with the ash grey shirt.

Grr.

So, after a day of being reminded how crazy Boston is to drive in, I'm back at the puzzle, which may be even more maddening.

I've got 5 boxes complete, and a number missing 1 or 2. Now I'm just going down each column. So, on the left-hand side, in the third box on talk-show hosts, what connects Jay Leno and cars, and will it then be obvious how that links to mafia?

Also, in the fourth box down what connects to F and science?

What is even happening?

You were in Boston, megan?

I can't get the thing that links cars and mafia. Jay Leno is in a triangle with cars and motorcycles, though.

Interesting commentary on the Richards incident: [link]

megan: It's something else Jay collects besides cars. Think two wheels. That might help with the one connecting to mafia.

I don't have the answer to your second question yet either.

Cindy, it's not cars and mafia that are linked, it's motorcycles and mafia. Think of the connection as a motorcycle gang. The possesive indicated in the clue should help.
