How I Met Your Mother was FUNNY tonight. Or at least, the music video was cracktastically awesome.

Oh my goodness! Another one! Hi, shrift!!! "Appa's Lost Days" was astoundingly brilliant and made me fall in love with the show and buy the DVDs. The show gives me mad allergies.

I was watching season one in reruns and enjoying well enough. Smart show, funny, with world-building and continuity. And then season two came along, and suddenly I'm all ZOMG AVATAR IS MADE OF AWESOME.

I want my own Appa. And an Uncle Iroh.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yes. This is pretty much the Avatar experience when viewed in order. I was watching new episodes while catching up, so it was a little weird to have the awesomeness of season two contrasted with the merely-really-good-ness of season one. I think season one is still great in its non-awesomeness, though; it's exactly what it needs to be. It all flows.

I want my own Appa. And an Uncle Iroh.

Yes. Verily.

Because books.

I'm plunging into Heroes for the first time. The "previously on" was pretty helpful. I just couldn't resist the temptation anymore.

On the puzzle, I don't know enough about Scientology to get any of the connecting words, except Tom Cruise.

Those are bad ones, sj. I only got them from other folks. One is crime and the other is mafia.

Thanks, Sail. I would have never guessed those.
