Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

All sounds good except the going to work, Kat. Although after two weeks, I'd be ready to go back too, I guess.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

What's the third three-letter word attached to chicken ? I've got egg and hen , but can't figure out the last one.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've bought Jesse presents too, even if she shunned them.

What is even happening?

You did??! I had no idea! So nice!

For reals. It was the year Allyson came out to visit, right around Christmas. We went to some pub in Somerville, but something happened, and you couldn't make it. It was my first Buffista outing. I think I got you chocolates. I'm sure I found something to do with them.

See, i'm not actually ready to go back yet. I could handle another few months off. I know come January, I'll have off for two months so I should zip it. But still.... I've enjoyed the time off, as much as you can enjoy sitting with a best friend who had a miscarriage and then being forced into bedrest for a week.

Razzle-barf-naff. Stupid plurals.

So, one of the texts I'm using is delightfully written... favorite lines:

One assumption of this book is that taciturn records can be squeezed until they talk. (Justice 9)
which is sort of how one could feel about lit crit in some circumstances, but Justice is a historian.

The other that is cracking me up:

The historian can look not only for the cunning of power, but also for its stupidity, or at least its lapses. (Justice 5)

I'm such a nerd.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

TAR: but it doesn't sound like that. Jesus.

Okay, um, what? I think we need some close-ups on that.
