Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

And sizing is akin to that of bridesmaid dresses. Ignore the size on the label, and buy what fits, because nobody but you is going to know the label, anyhow.

the size that fits for that may not resemble in the slightest your street shoe size.

Huh! I would never have guessed that. And I'd not have thought about the shopping at the end of the day tip either. Makes perfect sense.

There is a Fleet Feet store in Adams Morgan that gets high marks for individualized assessment...though it's a bit of a drag to get to. I'll have to make the trek though. This feels too important a choice to leave to DSW.

On that other topic...see? I read that post by Daniel and assumed that I'd skippetied past something everyone else knew. Wedding cake toppers and lurve mentioned in one breath but no details? Ya big tease!

serial: Oh, and back on the shoes...do folks have sock preferences? As opposed to puppets, of course.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Fleet Feet is where I go here. There's also a place at the end of M street by the Key Bridge that's very good.

For running, I swear by the double layer socks you can get at those stores. Especially if you're prone to blisters, they rock.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

It's like bras, in a way.

Speaking of which -- any nursing bra recommendations? I'm pretty irritated and dissatisfied with most of mine (presently a 36F).

Which are you using right now, and what's your particular irritation with them?

::scribbling quickly...::

I've never seen any of these socks...much research to do. Socks have always been the undoing or unsung heroes of my walking, but I've never had an actual sock plan, just random luck or lack there of.
