"Do you want me to speak slower, or should I find a nurse that speaks fluent Moron?"
Erika, is your tag quoting from you, or from House? Because, seriously, his is the only voice I can hear saying it, even though I have no memory of it from the show.
Oo! B's in labor! Safe delivery~ma for her and the little one!
It's from his comic doppleganger, Dr. Cox, from Scrubs.
Kristin - I cancelled therapy this evening, so you don't have to come sit on the baby.
"SOR was well-tolerated among pts,"
No, you don't need the hyphen. If you were saying "well-tolerated medication," you would.
I have no problems sending or receiving flirt-waves, and don't know what I'm going to do with all of you types who bunch up in the corners at parties and refuse to make eye contact while muttering snarky things under your breath. Mingle, damn you!
You've been spying on me again.
I like think of Cox as House's progenitor, prototype, archetype and a whole bunch of other words which boil down to, "House is a total copycat."
That's not me. Just because I don't get invited anymore, mostly, though.
This is kind of true, Cindy. But it is layered over with the moody cripple thing so House is more overtly dysfunctional.
I enjoy both of them, though. Despite being a "Scrubs" newbie who in fact does not have testicles.
I'm sorry I missed it so long...I guess I pictured it always being like the Sitcom episode...making dumb jokes about leaving stuff inside people.
The most recent ep of Scrubs was all about how Cox was House-like. Very funny.
ION, my sleep schedule is five kinds of fucked up. I get up at 3PM, go to bed at 4AM. This is Bad, not the least of which because I keep coming up with reasons to stay asleep and not go out and try my hand at recruitment things. It really sucks trying to build up a new relationship with a recruitment agency after my last one kind of rocked.
go to bed at 4AM
Staying up reading fic, aren't ya?
