Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

SuziQ - much sanity~ma for ya. I totally know what it feels like when those above you have NO clue what you do. :: sigh ::

Risk- We played this a bunch in College. One time, when I went home for holiday, a friend of mine from HS introduced me to her new BF. He was a former Airborn soldier. He bragged how he was undefeated in the barracks in 4 years of Army life. I kinda felt bad when I kicked his butt. Thankfully he didn't go postal on me (and thankfully Brenda broke up with him a year later).

Last night I had the pleasure of being part of the Serenity RPG hosted my the Birthday boy himself. HAPPY BDAY MM!!! Lots of fun last night! WOOT!

When my Sis lived in Fallbrook, we'd have family night every Sunday. She has all the family games. Rumikube, Domino's, Uno, various card games, etc. Alas, she no longer lives an hour away, so we don't do family night like we used to :( Plus, she has all the bloody games!!! All I got is backgammon and chess and cribbage. At least if I had the Trivia Pursuit, I could read the cards ;-)

O well, there was talk of some LAbuffistas doing game nights. Plus more Serenity. and hopefully Xbox for Live Fragging. All in all, I'm happy!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I just finished reading Mindless Eating. t warning:diet talk ahead

I really think it made more sense than anything I've read in ages when it comes to talking about food. It talks about all the different ways we eat more than we think we do. And this all leads up to the idea that we can't tell the difference if we eat 200 calories more or less than we usually do. And he has different sorts of strageties that can help you find how you can put this margin to use. But based on your personal eating habits. he says find 3 things that will improve you r eating - write them down and check off if you did them at the end of the day - the idea that it takes 28 days to form a habit. you won't be perfect, that's not really the point. He is not promiseing anything fast. 100 calories less a day is about 10 lbs over a year.( half a lb a month) If I could get down 20 to 30 lbs - This could mean less medication for me. I eat fairly well - and I have done really, really well when I was counting carbs - but I can't do that every day. So I figure that anything that improves my eating just a little means less counting.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Thanks for posting that, beth. I've been intrigued by that book. Nice to know it's worth checking out.

Hey. New board.

Calling in sick today. Am death warmed over. Stoopid common cold, how I hate thee.

I should start playing bridge online again.

But for the moment, I'm gaing back to bed.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Ohio's new governor was sworn in but what makes the headlines in the paper? OSU football.

I had forgotten that tonight was the championship game. *eyeroll* Ima have to strangle the first person I see wearing a buckeye necklace.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Ye gods, Cash, if I did that, I'd be strangling someone at 8:39 this morning.

I'm going to a low-key get-together tonight, but for the purposes of helping the hostess with constructing some artificial flower arrangements for a friend's upcoming wedding. My plan is to leave before it's over and not know the score the next morning.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Heh. You poor Columbus residents. I predict that, no matter who wins, there *will* be couches set on fire on the porches of student houses.

Cincinnati is definitely Go Buckeyes, but with much less rioting and burning of furniture. It's like, Yes, we're part of Ohio, but we don't have to destroy shit to prove it.
