See, Vera? Dress yourself up; you get taken out somewhere fun.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Well, I'm in the airport. It never fails to amaze me how much easier is it to deal with Burbank than with LAX. On a holiday. *shudder*

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Well, I had an interesting day. I put in 5 hours of work, then met CJ at the ortho. He got his braces on. Then I took both kids to lunch where we met up with K-Bug's boyfriend and his mom.

After lunch, CJ went home for a nap, and the rest of us went to a "paint it yourself" pottery place. I did a ceramic fire engine for CJ - will probably save it for Christmas. K-Bug and her boyfriend are still there - he is very meticulous artist...

It was very relaxing - just painting and listening to the banter around me.

I'm bummed about Beau Felt...uh, Daniel Baldwin. If only Kay was around to tough-love him in real life. Cindy will note the Cox tag...it was only a matter of time before I had one, respecting as I do a quality burn.

What is even happening?

I know. Someone linked to it, yesterday maybe, and I actually said aloud, "Crime makes you stupid." Poor Daniel Baldwin.

He's fantastic. I often wonder how much of the House character was just lifted from Cox.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Okay, after all of my being certain I had a virus, I woke up from a nap this afternoon and *knew* it was now la infection. Yep. Opportunistic little fuckers. Bronchitis and a sinus infection.

Met a great (married, I am only saying that he was great in the medical sense) doctor who doesn't think I will need antib's, but left a script in case I don't start improving, or get any worse, in the next few days. And gave me the nifty cough stuff. Which is already filled as I am no fool.

To sum up, Cass is cranky when sick and resistant to going to the doctor but once they can help me? I. Am. So. There. And this place rocks. Zooooooom!

Also we are flooding. Whatever.

eta: Post number of urgency. (I am easily amused.)

Yeah...feels like he's my friend and I should call him up and say something nurturing and partner-like like "What were you thinking, you fucking idiot?" Because I'm a giver like that, and that is kind of warm fuzzies on the thin blue line. "Jesus, Beau, you look like shit, bunky. I wouldn't fuck you with somebody else's...etc." ETA: Chase should so totally get the girly nicknames; he's got the shiny, shiny hair, right?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Blarg. Dealership called back. The coolant system is indeed leaking like mad and needs replacement of many parts, not all of which they have in stock. They will try to pull everything together and have it ready to go by the end of the day tomorrow, but it may not be until Monday morning. I'm bracing myself against the ensuing bill and kissing the feet of my high-limit zero-interest Discover card.

Breastfeeding woes: Matilda was last fully fed at 3:50. She had a stubbornly non-eaty period (eyes scrunched tight shut, mouth pursed up like a kitty butt, actually turning her nose up at the nipple with little snooty "Take that filthy thing away from me!" grunts) between breasts, then, just as I had given up, went hog-wild and sharked out on the second breast until 4:30, following which she fussed until 5:45, at which point I changed her, cuddled her, and gave her an extra ounce of expressed breast milk, which she wolfed down as though we'd been locking her in a cupboard starving her for days. She drowsed happily after that for exactly twelve minutes, and has been yelping (and bit by bit blurping up the entire extra ounce) ever since. She's due for another feeding in a few minutes.

On the upside, I saw Karl T. on the train on the way back home from dropping off the soon-to-be-alarmingly-expensive car, and got hugs and hairpats and vibes and ~ma in person, all of which Karl is very very good at. So, yay random localistas!

Yeah...you could not ask for a better encounter. Funny, on a day from hell like that, I run into some douchebag who's all "You're so brave," and I wonder how they do not notice I'm pasted together with superglue or less. Because that only happens on The Worst Day Ever. I'm not sure why.

Yes. Yes he does.

And so pretty. They've made the character an idiot ass but frankly he's nice to look at still.

Well, maybe he'd get some exotic ones, like Petula, since he's "British" CHASE: I'm not...
HOUSE: What did I tell you?
