Pleiades, I just showed Fay Kitchen Confidential, and she was like, "bloke from Alias! Xander! Random English guy!" and I pointed out Seth and Harold, and she was like, "OMG this show! They got a show! They got leading roles in a show!" And then I explained it got cancelled.
And then she cried.
I probably shouldn't be laughing.
As if knowing my inner soul, J. Schwartzman gave unto me RYAN/TAYLOR, which thus filled me with a squee heretofore unknown to woman. It was like a heterosexual slashgasm.

I'm not surprised or disappointed about the cancellation, though -- I figured this was going to be the last season going in. I'm just glad it's going out on a high note.
So it *did* get cancelled? I'm still unsure if that's a rumour or not.

My info (from DH, whose gossip tends to come from fairly official sources) is that they'll let it finish out the season, but it won't be renewed. So it's effectively canceled.

Mostly because nobody's watching it anymore. The ratings are through the floor this season. (Plus, 5 seasons is all they need for syndication.)

That's who Mallory is named for. Although, if I recall from that expedition to find them, it seems they took a more difficult route and probably didn't make it.
Thanks for the hiveminding. I don't know what she's passionate about - she used to be into tennis, but I don't think she's played in years. She does wear jewelry, and her husband is really rather smart about jewelry, but it's a usual gift between them.
I think I'll suggest the reunion thingy also, and pimp the spa time again.
