'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Was it really cancelled? Or just rumoured?

Please, please don't let it be cancelled. I love it so much now.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Please, please don't let it be cancelled.

Oh SA. Save this love for a show that's worthy of it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Was it really cancelled? Or just rumoured?

Really cancelled.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Champagne in a can. Found Sofia today and picked one up. It's ... clever and the "extendo and then bendo" straw is seriously nifty but the wine is too sweet for my tastes. Not bad wine, but not my thing. Still clever though. Glad it makes Laga happy.

I bit, and eschewed in bra form, the bullet today and bought new mentionables. Now I get to run through my lingerie drawers and toss all of the pokey underwires and bits that have lived a full and uplifting life away.

Also Bath and Body Works was having a killer sale and I found an Orange Flower perfume that smells like actual orange blossoms for $12. Also Mimosa which smells like mimosa and also recalls acacia blossoms.

Cass is a happy damn girlie girl tonight. Even if fizzy wine in a pink can wasn't a total success.

My friend's husband taught their daughter to respond with, "Crackhead." to anything his dad said.
Your daughter's, "Oh ... *shit*!" in the hospitality suite was pretty good too.

Now to go back and read all about everyone else's day.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Cass, does that Orange Blossom have Honey in it too? One of my clients was talking about that today and just said hers was from a department store.

My nephew, at my college graduation where I was not there to hear but got mom's retelling, uttered "Oh, FUT". I think he was two?

Sorry about the homeless man's unappreciative comments of your attire, JZ.

Am crampy and cranky. Feh. I think I will be off to purchase new heating pad.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry JZ, but I had to share your story with Brendon and he just laughed and laughed too. We suck.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Dear Tep and Aimée:

You? SUCK.

Love,

The Homeless Woman In Houndstooth

All my spare change is yours, baby.

Words cannot express how profoundly tomato soup is not your color.

Egad! Well, fair trade then.

I hope Hec didn't wear the tomato-soup mock turtleneck to work today....

And on the clothing bargaining, let me just say: because The Boy is a cross-dresser, I have twice as much clothing to raise my eyebrows at. Fortunately (for me), he is so skinny that he can never steal my clothes.

This one doesn't. It's by Henri Bendel and is the Orange Flower. I also picked up Rare Mimosa. Price was $48 but 75% off. Web is showing me anything from the $48 to $250 for this. For $12, I might go back and pick up a spare...

But I have a few body products that are scented with Orange Blossom and Honey. No perfumes though. Now I am intrigued...

My sister just called me looking for a divorce attorney where she lives. Brat waited pretty far into the conversation to finally tell me it wasn't for her... I just e'ed her info though. I got an aunt in the biz...

Now tagless for your comfort.

Where did I miss that there is champagne in a CAN????
