Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Heeeeeeeeey, Maria!

I have this mental picture of you, dressed up as the Fonz, saying that. I'm thinking that's not such a good thing.

Not shoes, SHOOOOZ. There's a difference.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Just like riding a bicycle, amych.

Maria, my gorgeous. Howareya?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Jilli!! Ya know the rhinestoney thingies you sometimes wear? Where does one procure them and how are they applied?

As in the rhinstone thingies I wear on my face? The pre-made bindis or "crystal tattoos" are usually like a sticker, so you can just peel them off the package and stick 'em wherever. But! If you look in the scrapbooking aisles of craft stores, you can find packages of stick-on rhinestones that can be used for the same purpose for FAR lower prices.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I have this mental picture of you, dressed up as the Fonz, saying that. I'm thinking that's not such a good thing.

Er. No. It's more a mental picture of me, dressed up as me, saying that. Smiling.

Not shoes, SHOOOOZ. There's a difference.

Hello, sailor.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thanks Jilli!

I was going to do a circlet for the Con, but I don't think it will stay in my hair after I cut it, so I'm going with swirly, elaborate eye markings.

Howareya?

Short version: hanging in there, and coming and going as my schedule allows. I hope you're doing well.

It's more a mental picture of me, dressed up as me, saying that. Smiling.

That's better.

I am, indeed. Well, but busy.

Because books.

Maria!

::gropes Maria prodigiously::

Aimee, that sounds so pretty! I'm a sucker for face-painting -- if I could do it myself, every day, I would. I tried to make the stuff I got at RenFaire over the summer last as long as possible.

Which wasn't long with Sara touching it every few minutes.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Just since I posted a bunch about marriage problems, I thought I would update that things are pretty much all patched up now. Not exactly perfect, but probably no more so than any marriage is.

Oh, wow. Gud, that's wonderful to hear.

Em barged in there, watched him pee, and then proclaimed, "GOOD GIRL, DADDY!"

So how's his aim when doubled over with laughter?

This very true also. I also don't think I'd be very good.

I think you would (and your example does nothing to dissuade me). I've always thought I'm not much good at this either. My first character is really just me, and exists as an excuse to snark. I've become better at it, though.

This is where I point out that you can use the stick-on sparkly things in your hair too. As long as you don't constantly fiddle with them, they'll stay where you put them.
