Lorne: My little prince. Oh…what did they do to you? Angel: Nina…tried to…eat me. Lorne: Oh, you're--medic! You're gonna make it Angel. Just don't stop fighting. Doctor! Is there a Gepetto in the house?

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Billytea!!! How're you? I hope the New Year is treating you right.

That's magnificent. You must be very proud. Incidentally, I think Melbourne Zoo has maned wolves.

He loves Diego and the more I watch, the more impressed I am with the way the show teaches zoology to preschoolers. He's getting better at the zoo (we took him to the Christmas light show) and he's showing more interest in the animals. I still need to get a picture of Olivia curled up with her naked mole rat--it sleeps with her in her crib.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

billytea! Happy New Year. I've been missing you. How's it going?

Hi! Um, to everyone. It's true, I've been dark. Not Angel dark, which comes in two exciting flavours, based on the percentage of cocoa. This has been work-related dark. It saw many late nights, including the crescendo performance where I was up until 6 am finishing a presentation, slept for an hour (the remarkable thing is that I managed to wake up at 7), went into work on the hottest December day in fifty years, wowed the clients in a two hour meeting and told my supervisor the moment we were out the door that he wouldn't be seeing me again until Tuesday. I? Rock.

Are you married?

Not yet. Hey, did you know that Christmas cards addressed to the two of us are accepted as evidence by the Dept of Immigration that our relationship is ongoing? I wonder how they'll feel about transcripts from this site. (We have a trump card. Wallybee has transcribed every single text message I've ever sent her. She's on her third exercise book. But we don't want to use that unless necessary, because as she notes, 'it's personal'.)

In fact, Biyi is returning to China in a little more than a week. I won't see her again thereafter until we get married (March 25! Mark your calendars!). And then we have to wait maybe another month for Immigration to let her back in the country. Boo. I've been learning Mandarin, which is silly fun. It won't be as much fun without her to practise on.

Also sad: the Year of the Penguin has ended! (The New York Times, incidentally, has recognised this fact, and proclaimed 2007 to be the Year of the Meerkat. We shall see.) I saw Happy Feet the day it opened here (Dec 26), and declare it rockin'. (Wallybee now calls me Happy Tummy. No respect.)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I suppose it's too late for Christmas cards, but if jointly-addressed Chinese New Year cards would also help your case, I'd be happy to help out.

I was just going to say - I missed doing Christmas cards, so I figured maybe New Year cards... though now it's looking more like Happy Valentine's Day Cards. Well, anyway... yay, March 25th! I wish you both smooth Immigration sailing.

No, that's ok. We really should have enough support as is.

Hee. Well, ok then. Oh, that reminds me, I have to write a history of our relationship. I've probably mentioned most of the stuff worth recording in Bitches. Off to threadsuck!
