I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

TCG and I had a very nice dateiversary yesterday. I am now in possession of a gift certificate to the beauty shop, so I can get my nails done with black nail polish for New Years Eve.

Catching up from yesterday afternoon. So many hugs to give:

{{{Daisy Jane}}} Your grandfather sounds like he is an amazing man; I am so sorry he is sick. ~ma to you and to your family.

{{{Sara}}} AmyLiz, I hope she is feeling better today.

{{{SA}}} I hope you weren't hurt too badly. I'm glad the computer is ok.

{{{Cash's DH}}} Calm~ma to him.

{{{ND}}} Tons of ~ma to your mom.

I have registered as a potential volunteer for the 2007 All-Star game which will be in SF next year. Who knows if I'll get picked, but that would be a blast!

Suzi! Best of luck with this. That would be so much fun for you.

I've heard people get tired of pasta, bread and cheese, but I'm having trouble coming to terms with it. I guess I'll have to go to Italy.

I never did, nor gelato, nor amazingly fresh fish, nor fantastic wine. Note to self: Must get back to Italy soon.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

a random Christmas song ND didn't even know he owned (which included the line, "Here comes fatty with a sack of shit and all those stinkin' reindeer")

I've got that one! "Fatty Claus" by Rudolph and the Gang. It's from the John Waters xmas collection.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yay! My powers are good for something other than car crashes!

Silly Maria! Clearly your family has a car crash jinx but you are so powerful as to transcend it.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Grandaddy passed this morning. They said in his last moments he thought he was back working the LSU-Ole Miss game. He was saying, "I wish these drunks would get out of here so I can leave." I asked if they weren't sure he wasn't just talking about us Morgans.

Thanks for all the hugs, ~ma, thoughts and prayers.

The viewing will be Tuesday and the funeral Wednesday- to give people time to recover from the Saints game and get up to Shreveport. He will be buried at the top of the hill down at the lake.

Also sending out ~ma and thoughts to all the Bitches.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, DJ. Peace to your Grandaddy and to all of you he's left behind.

They said in his last moments he thought he was back working the LSU-Ole Miss game. He was saying, "I wish these drunks would get out of here so I can leave."

Never met him, and yet I love him.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sorry for your loss, Daisy Jane....

Compassionately intolerant

Blessings Daisy Jane. Godspeed to Grandaddy. Sounds like he was making his way to what I'm sure will be a comforting place.
