Simon: Captain... why did you come back for us? Mal: You're on my crew. Simon: Yeah, but you don't even like me. Why'd you come back? Mal: You're on my crew. Why we still talking about this?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

So, funniest moment of the limited playing -

Walking up behind Sean and saying "Y'know, you really should pay attention to what's going on behind you." and then smacking him in the back of the head.

Best comic timing goes to Paul who ran me over and timed the high, jolly "Hi Pete!" perfectly so it blurted loudly from my Tv just as he was passing right over my downed body.

Yeah, I know, you had to be there. Btw, did you know Sean swears almost as much as Joe when he's being fragged?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hi! It's three thirty in the morning, and I think I might have just figured out something I want To Do With My Life, At Least For Awhile.

::cue astonishment::

Frag in post? Adorkable, each and every one of ya'll.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

The Empress and Princess and I have been watching The Devil Wears Prada and sipping a lovely dessert wine. The Princess took a brief break when she attempted to drink said wine (and then was very put out by Auntie Kristin's shrill, "Em, NO!" as I lunged towards her to swipe it out of her hands...I made her cry! BAD Auntie!).

Anyway, we're watching the end of the movie now. Em has forgiven me. For now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am glad the frag fest was a hit. It sounds like everyone had fun.

sj, you mean something more like this: [link] , than like this: [link] , right?

That's exactly the kind of thing I am looking for, Teppy, although maybe a little shorter, since I am so short, and preferably in black leather.

Sean, I would love the recipe for the goat cheese and fig quesadillas if you get the chance. We had a goat cheese and fig pizza at a restaurant recently, and it was one of the best things I ever tasted.

{{{Nora}}} I'm sorry the holidays were so difficult.

{{{Teppy}}} I don't think it makes you a bad girlfriend; you have to take care of yourself sometimes too. I didn't do nearly as much running around as you did for the holiday, and I am feeling kind of shredded too. I think after Christmas we should all be able to hide in caves for a week.

I went over to mom's so we could go get manicures, instead I picked up a present for TCG for our date-iversary and took at 3 hour nap. Tomorrow I should probably put the presents away and throw out the wrapping paper that is all over the floor, but for now more sleep.

BOOK: "River..? Please, why don't you come on out..." RIVER: "No. Can't. Too much hair." - 'Jaynestown'

The Devil Wears Prada is a great flick. Saw it last week between performances of ACC. It made me get all weepy.

Gotta go back to XBox Live and shoot my friends and coworkers now.

I loved The Devil Wears Prada and the nephews sent me the DVD of it for Christmas, so I think I need to watch it again soon.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Pete, fay and I were just talking about you today at the dinner table.

Hi SA. So, what is it you want to Do With Your Life?

I think I'm going to pursue a Masters in Philosophy. It's what I initially wanted to do in college, but got distracted by other stuff, and when I stumbled across the idea today (this morning, this night, whatever) it just felt kind of right. And the application deadlines for the 07 entrance year are still open for York (which has a really, *really* cool looking program), St Andrew's, Cardiff U, and I think both KCL and UCL. Something like modern ethics, maybe. I mean, I'm still poking at the idea, looking for holes, but it feels good. Interesting. Purpose-like.

Still haven't seen "Devil Wears Prada" even though it was in the theatres in Dublin until November.

I saw figs the other day at the Whole Foods in SoHo in London, and really, *really* wanted to buy some, except they were a pound a fig. Pri-cey.

Good luck with this, SA!

Wow! That really is expensive.

Really off to bed now. Night, Bitches!

Uh oh. *preens* So, what were you saying, huh, huh?

Both Cardiff and York can be fine places to live. Cardiff is a little bigger if memory serves. Good luck wih chasing your Masters. It's all a bit above my head, really.
