[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I think the frag-n-post is adorable.

Yup, I said adorable.

It really is fun to listen to them all scream and swear at each other. Sean just yelled, "No! Stop! STOP SHOOTING AT ME!" Which didn't work. Surprisingly.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I don't even know what all the fragging-related activity IS. So the links are thoughtful and shit, but I have no clue.

And in a smooth segue to mememememe....

I am so. damned. exhausted. It's been lovely, but spending the last 5 days doing nothing but driving back and forth and back and forth again, all over town, to various family/friend holiday gatherings, has worn. me. out.

Saturday was a friend's party. They live about 45 minutes north of me. Fun, absolutely, but a long-ass drive nonetheless.

Sunday was Xmas Eve, and involved a trip to Dad's in the afternoon (20-minute drive) for presents with the bro, followed by a late lunch with Dad, bro, SiL, and SiL's parents. That was followed immediately by going out to my Mom's (another 15- to 20-minute drive from my dad's place) for an extremely loud and nerve-jangling fete with my stepdad's family.

Monday, traditional Xmas observed. I spent the night at my Mom's the night before, so we opened presents with the bro and SiL in the morning, followed by a big-ass breakfast and such. Then I drove back home (30-minute drive) to get a shower and a nap. Then I picked up The Boy and we went to my aunt's for Xmas dinner (another 20-ish-minute drive).

Tuesday was Xmas with The Boy's family (35- to 40-minute drive), which was long but very very nice, capped off by helping The Boy take 3 cats to the vet at 10:30 p.m. last night. It wasn't an emergency; the cats had appts. today to get spayed, and The Boy was able to drop them off the night before. So I helped.

Today was driving back out to Dad's to see the bro and SiL, since they leave tomorrow morning. After that, I went to get my oil changed in my car, since my dad lives close to the dealership. After 2 hours, the car was done. I knew my bro and SiL were going to stop at my mom's before dinner; my mom lives 10 minutes from the dealership, so I decided to drive out there because my car wasn't ready until just about dinnertime. So I got to see the bro and SiL one more time.

And I just got home.

The Boy said he might need my help with the newly-spayed cats, and I don't think I can go back out. I mean it. I'm shredded. Does that make me a bad girlfriend?

Laura, what happened? I was talking to you and then...

ANyhoo, it was lovely to hear your voice.

And David, thanks for the info. I am so distracted when I am in the phone that typing and talking renders me stupid. See above post.

There I was blah blah blahing. I thought you'd maybe snuck off for a quick bubble bath and a shot!

Good plan! Nah, I could hear you for a bit, but you couldn't hear me. Then my son jumped up and said his Warcraft game was no longer on line and went to reset the router. 4 people in the house. All 4 on their computers.

Hmm, bubble bath and shot. Well, shot anyway.

Hey, my dad plays WoW. Hee. Course, so do 7 zillion other people.

He got headphones and a Wow book (and pins) this Xmas, so now he can be all talkie-dwarf-fighter, Go, team Dad!

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm starting to worry that b.org causes migraines.

That thought had crossed my mind a few times as well, but I usually manage to push it away pretty quickly.

Aimee, for winter clothes for Em, it might work to bring the warmest you have for the first day, then stop by a Salvation Army or Goodwill and pick up stuff for the rest of the trip. Then, you can take it back when you're done. Or leave it in a box on your mom's living room for for her to take back!
