I'm doing it because people asked for a Frag & Post. Anyway, I'm posting links to matches I'm not even in yet. Also, the disparity in skill can be dulled by the handicap system. I fear Drew and crowd are not going to get the warm up they need tho', as it seems Sonus is a lot better than expected.
The funny thing is, yes I do get upset at my family, who we spend every holiday with, but when I was so far away from them, I missed them like whoa. Mostly in St. Andrew's (where M-i-L lives)... the emotional stuff was extra rough due to a) aforementioned issues and b) it was Christmas, a day teeming with significance whether I realized it or not. I kept trying to tell myself that it was "just a day." But, it wasn't.
Everything else was OK, but not good enough to emotionally sustain us at all after the heartbreak in St. Andrew's.

True. But they do have delicious little details like who fragged who the most and .... um... yeah, it's a thing.
Anyway, they finished the second game. Looks pretty brutal. I'm in there because this is the game I popped into to talk to them and find out who was who. And get shot a lot (which happens when you're trying to close in on them to chat while they're trying to murderize you). Oh, and give Joe my shotgun...
I'm having the family over to watch FSU get slaughtered in the Emerald Bowl.
The Emerald Bowl. I still can't believe it. And if FSU loses tonight it will be the first time in THIRTY YEARS they've ended with a losing season. I mean, yeah there have been times when it sucked or was almost a losing season. I really hate to be the Bowdens right now. Personally I don't think it's a disgrace to have a coaching change, yes Bowden has been coach and got FSU that winning streak but changes is good sometimes. Jeff Bowden is gone after this season, but that was handled badly. Fans aren't happy and it's not going to be a pretty sight next season if things don't improve.
But more pressing issues are that people are coming over and OMIGOD! My room is a mess and I don't think hiding things in the closet is going to work. You have to go to my room in order to get to the bathroom and I don't think I can ask people to not use the restroom for the full game. (At some point Mom and I are going to run wire and hang curtains to make it separate and that will also help define my library corner).
But this is the first party at my house so I am excited.
