TOOKIES!
I eatted most of the tookies already. I didn't know I could trade them for broken pretty boys...Much like pretty boys, cookies can be made more than once.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I fell back asleep this morning! YAY!
Morning, Bitches!
Yay! Isn't vacation lovely? I slept in until 8 myself. Luxury.
Vacation is lovely!
Bah, humbug. Vacations are only nice for the non-snotty.
I'm back at work. There is too much to do and it all has to be done for year end. I just want to crawl under my desk and sleep.
I am on day three of a migraine. I had to bag out on going to Roscoe's for chicken and waffles last night, as the mere thought of it was queasy-making. Bleagh. It does respond for an hour or two to medication, so I am timing my drugs so I will be able to go to my skating class tonight, followed taking our houseguest to the James Bond movie. He wants to see it and I have offered to make the supreme sacrifice of staring lasciviously at Daniel Craig seeing the film again.
I'm starting to worry that b.org causes migraines.
At work in my office on the thirty-second floor, with gift-card bought latte and hazelnut-blackberry muffin.
It was hard to leave the house this morning because Matilda was being super smiley and extra adorable. Ahhhh, cute babies of fun. I get a paycheck tomorrow! Woot. Of course, the money is already spent last month, but still. Paycheck.
As a special holiday season query, I ask you to...
Tell me about a memorable time you went skating
Presume ice skating, but I will accept roller skating, rollerblading, or even watching Torville and Dean
I loved Torville and Dean...and every single skater I ever saw at the Olympics.
My most memorable time skating was about 6 years ago. My bf at the time spoke fondly of growing up in MA with much skating under his belt. I'd never been. We went to a local rink and, frankly, I was terrified. No depth perception (literally) made me sure I'd put out either my eye or someone else's.
Instead...I didn't fall once (okay, I drifted slowly to the ice, legs spread wide, but it didn't count as an actual flailling fall).
I ended up really enjoying myself. (and I looked super cute in a huge sweater and leggings...bonus)
Omnis, did you see that we are starting at 2:30 at my place for the frag fest?
Of COURSE I am going to talk about roller skating. The first time I went to practice on Saturday morning was memorable. There were only about four of us at the rink and the heat wasn't on, so we all swooped around in the morning chill. It was quiet, and a train went by outside, and there was something about the sound of the whistle and the faded decorations on the wall of the rink and all of us in our sweatshirts concentrating on various steps that was very sweet and satisfying.
