I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Spike ,'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Always worth seeing again
I love that! I have it bookmarked so I can look at it again and again.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cass, insent, a little while ago.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aims, I may escape the frag fest to come see you for a bit tomorrow if the offer is still good. Have you seen The Devil Wears Prada? I bought the dvd in one of my delayed layovers from Orlando to Tucson, and I think you'd love it. I could bring it over if you'd like.

That would be AWEsome! I haven't seen it yet!

Wind - good call on the muslin practice dress! S, Sean's luverly girlfriend is going to supervise me, also. She's a seamstress.

And there was bad news, good news, and great news at the Apple store. Bad news was the harddrive was bad. The good news was it wasn't my fault. The great news was they had a 20gb clickwheel in the store (and if I'm looking at this thing right - it's brand new) so I am now the proud owner of Vernish. He is updating as we speak. Er...type.

Am drowning in cats. Why does Kittenish want to nestle on my rack?

Mostly lurking...

Anne, did you get an answer about your quilt? I just asked the larger hivemind (mom and SIL), and they both recommended that you have it dry cleaned. And, don't just take it to any dry cleaner. Take it to one who specializes in antique fabrics or wedding dresses...something like that. SIL said to call a local bridal shop and ask for a dry cleaner recommendation.

Am drowning in cats. Why does Kittenish want to nestle on my rack?

At CuteOverload.com, there is a whole subtopic of "Cats 'n Racks"

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Why does Kittenish want to nestle on my rack?

Because she has a pulse?

But it's making me sneeze. She's just sort of perched under my chin. Usually under my chin. It's not like she's making sure I can still breathe. Which she should. Because I control the Magic Tuna Bowl.

I think she sees me as a heating pad that can open cans.

Our wings are not tired

Trudy makes a strong point there.
