I'm finally flying home! I had a great vacation and a wonderful few days with my mom, gram, and uncle & family, but I'm really looking forward to cuddling up with ND in our own bed tonight. Also, we go pick up the kitties in the morning from their "kennel" (google "best little cat house in pasadena" to see how not-kennel-like this place is), and I can't wait to snuggle them. Misses my kitties, I did.
So I'm at the Tucson airport. It's a bit of a ghost town, which is nice. I've bought two books since I finished the four I'd brought with me, and I've eaten a nasty airport burger. One of these two decisions was a poor one. Blargh.
Aims, I may escape the frag fest to come see you for a bit tomorrow if the offer is still good. Have you seen

I bought the dvd in one of my delayed layovers from Orlando to Tucson, and I think you'd love it. I could bring it over if you'd like.
Yay for flying home. I had really a very good weekend with the fam, but I'm so happy to be home on my own.
The dog's still at my dad's, so it could be better, but still.
So Pete, how's about you give us a list of 3 or 4 really good maps that we'll play tomorrow so that we can do our little pre-game practice session on those maps so that the cannon fodder can at least be mobile cannon fodder.
Okay, well, assuming ND's box doesn't mess around (have you wiped it yet and reloaded everything?) I would suggest these 4 maps -
Lockout, Ivory Tower, Turf, & for some vehicle combat - Coagulation and maybe Zanzibar.
Secondary maps if you have time - Sanctuary, Beaver Creek & Containment.
Avoid Backwash at all costs as that map does not play well with 360's.
And Plei's hubby, Paul, should be joining us too. He can give me a run for my money but he may be rusty. We'll both be starting with the minimal handicap on. Medium would be a bit much with this many people, but we'll have to see how it goes.
What time are you people going to start? I know I'm not joining until sometime after 4:30.
