I'm hopefully going to start next week. I'm going to see if I can find the fabric and pattern locally. Save on the shipping, although 2.99/yd for stretch velvet is a really good price.
I also need to find a circlet for my hair.
I picked the teal because I'm getting the new pixie cut and dark hair right before we go and I thought it would look better. This is one of those times I wish I had blue eyes. Plus, the short hair will really show off the pointy ears!!
I need to find one of those chain-y looking belt thingies. Maybe just some cording tied all crisscrossy around my waist. Or something.

I like the velvet too, but I would want to touch and see the fabric in person rather than eBay or otherwise remotely buy. Particularly if you are looking for something with stretch.
