It's lovely to hear you are having a great Christmas, Deena!

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
What is Watergate salad?
Poor sickees! I'd snuggle you, but I'd really rather not get sick. Long distance get-well smooches.
I just had a hot stone massage. To. Die. For.
Yay for happy Deena Christmases!

Only one more show to go!! Then I'm freeeeee! -ish.
Thanks, Robin! It's been really nice to count my blessings today and be able to count the Buffistas in with them. If I count them individually it takes me all day. I hope your day is being splendiferous and tomorrow is even more so.
Watergate salad is a 4 oz. package of pistachio pudding poured over a can of crushed pineapple mixed with a container of Kool Whip and some mini marshmallows. It's Greg's One True Holiday food. I always have to double it as he doesn't like to share. I usually take a little out for me before I add the marshmallows, though the first time I did that he was disturbed by my sacrilege. Vw said her family adds diced pecans in, but that is an adulterant and Not To Be Born in this household.
Thanks, Kristin! Betsy will be even more jealous of your hot stone massage than I am because she knows what it feels like.

Oh, no! There are no pecans. And we call it pistachio salad. We always double or triple as well. Ben could eat it all, if we let him.
Yay for Kristin arriving in Tuscon! And for a hot stone massage!
There was other stuff. Shoot. I should have taken notes. Oh, yeah! Poor sickies! That's no fun at Christmas! Or ever, really.
I just wrapped all of my presents. They're quite pretty, if I do say so myself. The paper is a metallic purple and silver, with purple ribbon wrapped around and tied into a bow.
Huh. I must have read/heard that somewhere else then.
Showered, dressed, I think I look human. Now if I could only FEEL human.
Deena, your Christmas sounds fantabulous. As does Kristin's! I could definitely use a massage right now. Especially the feetseses.
I'm done with wrapping, yay! I've grocery shopped. I helped teh daughter rearrange furniture. Now all I've got to do is bake cookies, bread pudding (I'm trying ita's recipe from the buffista cookbook), and prep the squash gratins. Everything else is easy-peasy: roasted asparagus and pork loin that's already seasoned, just pop it in the oven and let it go. Oh, and smashed potatoes.
I hope everyone else has a wonderful Christmas or holiday of your choice. Peace!
Suzi, and Beth too, I hope you get to feeling human soon. I'm sorry. I know being sick makes it hard to enjoy the good stuff.
