[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I passed an endcap at Target with the Hello Kitty kitchen appliances. Toaster, coffeemaker, etc. I paused. They were all so cute.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

GC, have you seen the picture of my niece that I posted?

I did not!!! How adorable! So happy to see the HK love continue through the generations.

When I was killing time in Urban Outfitters yesterday, I noticed they had a HK digital camera with software to make your own HK themed picture borders, etc...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Congratulations, Brenda!!! Best of luck with the new job.

Surgery~ma to Maria’s sister.

{{{juliana}}} I am sorry that this holiday season has been difficult for you.

Hivemind question: There are two little girls in TCG's extended family that he doesn't usually buy for, but we are going to get them chocolate santas this year as a just a though gift. The girls have an older sister who is a teenager? Would giving her a chocolate santa be lame or does the chocolate win over the lameness?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Thanks to my nephew for my new tagline. We were at the Wild Animal Park yesterday and my bro bought Jack a wee drum. It looks like one of those big african standing drums scaled down to be about 10 inches tall. "Oh lordy!" I figured we'd be accompanied by rhythmless pounding the whole rest of the trip but luckily Jack's inherited his father's talent for drumming and it was actually kind of nice having a drummy soundtack as we walked around.

We came upon an enclosure with Okapi and Eastern Yellow Backed Duikers. As we walked along a male Duiker shot up his head and fixed his gaze on the little drummer boy. Jack sat down on a rock and the little creature trotted right up to him, even trying to stick his head under the wire to get closer. Of course we will never know if the Duiker wasn't trying to say, "quit it!"
