Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I loved Death Valley. So pretty, and so many distinct areas.
If you go to Death Valley, you can camp at higher elevations (say, 7,000') where it is much cooler. Of course, Death Valley tourism is a seasonal thing, except for Germans, for who visiting Death Valley in the hot summer months has become a macho thing....
Maybe NSM with the climbing, but definitely to see.
I was twenty-five before I ever climbed there. And I spent the first 18 years living with those rocks as my backyard. Climbing is just an optional activity.
There's just something spectacular about
being
there. At least there is to me. We could drive out there for a few days. I adore tour guiding just to see people's reactions.
I still haven't gotten over Joshua Tree and I long to go back.
I'm not sure what you lost the weight off of, but if it feels good, that's what counts.
I was depressed back in July or August and lost a little. When I came out of it, I liked having lost a bit and started eating better and working out. Later, I learned that whenever I was feeling antsy or starting to get depressed again, working out helped. I'm also pretty lucky in that I drop weight quickly if I'm doing the right stuff.
juliana, may you settle in to your new holiday routine and have the most wonderful holiday ever.
Oh, dear. My bed is filled with things that need to fit in my one suitcase. It SO ain't happening. But, I'm not allowed to bring more suitcases. Oh, the trauma of holiday packing!
Besides, I have to have room in my luggage to bring home my new RED kitchen aid mixer (she says hopefully)!
Connie, here is the linky do.
How many has he sold, roughly? And does he use the same opening price?
Climbing is just an optional activity.
I used to like climbing, but ever since the accident, I've had a hard time descending stairs and am much more susceptible to vertigo, so I'm quite loath to climb. I'm sure if it was something I really loved, I'd still do it, but eh.
Still want to see it, though. Not a big fan of the desert, but want to see all of the Grand Staircase, actually.
The opening prices changes depending on the condition of the book. He's sold 26 books so far.
Re: Halo Game
1) Anyone interested in taking part over Live, please remember it's Halo
2
that we'll be playing.
2) Download the additional maps available on Live. They're all free, and many are better than the ones that the game shipped with.
3) If anyone who's playing doesn't have my Gamertag, email me at my profile addy. I'll need to get you Friended to make this work.
4) Sorry, Kristin.
5) Frag & Post? Hee-larious. Don't know how feasible that is, though. I'm sure a few people will give it a shot, and I'd better ensure I have one eye on Bitches to see what's being said. Troublesome urchins.
Congratulations Brenda!
I prefer my personal violence to be a little more quest-based.
