Hey! What do you two think you're doing? Fightin' at a time like this. You'll use up all the air!

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Good luck with your temp job, Hec.

Mostly lurking...

{{{{Maria and family}}}} Much ~ma to you all.

Good luck, Hec!

Ick, SExM. Definitely sounds like moving is the best option. But, ick.

I'm feeling normal today. Thank goodness for that.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Damn, {{Bitches}} Seems like December just has to go out with a bang, gun type instead of pretty fireworks.

Have coffee, not sure I have a brain. Christmas is too darn close and I still have packages to mail and packages to pick up. I hope the post office is open until midnight every night, I'm going to need it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Did you say this was in the same building as your former job? If so, I hope you have some interesting encounters in the elevator.

Yeah, that'll be interesting. My weasley ex-boss left the firm, so I won't run into her. I could possibly run into the evil LA HR director if she's up visiting, though that's unlikely this time of year and she wouldn't be arriving at the building at the same time. Otherwise it'd just be people I knew and got along with. I don't mind running into them, except attorney culture is a more shame-based system so they might feel uncomfortable running into me.

I'll be temping in the accounting department of this place so I expect I'll be doing the most tedious kind of year-end backlog work.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I went to get my haircut and colored this morning. I was thinking of chopping it a lot, but the one thing I don't like about this hairdresser is that she ALWAYS overbooks, and even though I had a 9:45 appointment, she was already behind. By the time she started the cut, I'd been there for almost 2 hours, and I just couldn't stand being there any more, so I told her just to trim it and then bolted.

Lee, this same thing happened to me! I walked out when it was 15 minutes past my appointment time and she was still totally mid-cut with someone. Bah. No haircut for me.

{{Erin}}

Sonus, that's horrible. I hope that you guys can get out of there soon and with a minimum of fuss or angst.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What to get P-C for Christmas: [link]

I love how the subject is listed as 'Religious, Inspirational'

I call the painting, "Femme avec un Dinosaure", which is French. The tiny woman, so long relegated to the background, is instead foregrounded, and so foregrounded that a starburst radiates from her very head into the heavens. I can do that, but I have to concentrate really hard, and I break blood vessels in my forehead.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

SexM - you mihgt want to file a report with someone - even if it is just the local landlord/tenet board. The police would be good to. I 'm not sure this guy won't try and follow your roommate.

{{maria}}

I had very vivid adventure, slightly scary dreams all night. bah.

Yeah. I was wondering if the police could do anything. Like, does this count as 'breaking and entering' or would they just consider it a landlord/tenant dispute.
