Giles, help! He's going to scold me!

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

oh, that is good to hear, sumi. I was getting worried about the whole swelling that wouldn't go away thing (though I'm sure I wasn't the only one).

We have lights up outside, a little alpine Christmas village in the window, and our lovely tree. I would put decorations on the tables and such, but the children are a little challenging to decorative things. Kara likes to rearrange them (or take them apart) and Aidan likes to push them off of wherever they are. Still, we're pretty festive.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I just took the longest hottest shower, and took the control panel off my showerhead, and had it BLASTING my neck and shoulders with needles of fire, AIFG!

ahhh. Feel. Much. Better.

am now eating leftover pizza hand-delivered by a pal, with an icy glass of tea with lemming.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

I am releasing the -ma back in the wild.

My project now has an editor. The editor now has to sell it internally, but at least now I am on the inside. Still going to hold off mentioning more until things are aligned...

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Sure, the day I lounge around with not much doing is the day the boards are rather quiet. Well, glad others are having a life.

ION, thanks to the internets, I now have the bulk of my xmas shopping done! Still have yet to step in a store. woot! (I hate crowded stores) O, and ya, I spent way too much. Probably piss the family off, since we all said "we are going small this year". Mom getting a shuffle and a cell phone, sis getting nice egyptian cotton sheets, niece getting spoiled all around. Ahh. The joy of giving.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Odds are, by the time you read this, you'll be filled with gronk looking for coffee on a shiny Monday! Yipee!

vw bug - omnis, I have an idea for a present. When my mom had surgery a few months ago, a friend of my parents sent frozen prepared meals from Dine Wise:

OK, so I'm ordering for Darla and Paul. I'm doing the gift certificate, and I love what they say (paraphrase) :: The $xxx gift certificate is mailed for free, but does not include shipping of the food. You may want to consider the $yyy gift certificate to cover shipping costs ::

BOOK: "River..? Please, why don't you come on out..." RIVER: "No. Can't. Too much hair." - 'Jaynestown'

So. Very. Angry.

My previously unmentioned situation with my absentee landlord's son has come to a head. After repeated intrusions into our home (where he does not live), my roommate and I (having notified our landlord) installed new locks so we could have some peace and quiet, without unwanted, unbidden intrusions by this crazed sociopath.

Of course, last night, he basically breaks in and leaves an urgent note for my roommate, asking for him to call her at her soonest convenience.

She responds to this note, calls him, and he blows up at her for barring him access to a house he does not own or live in. And threatens to evict her. On power of attorney that he doesn't have. And our landlord emails my roommate with a bunch of accusations and protestations.

Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

I'm more angry than I've been in recent memory, and I'm giving notice tomorrow to my landlord that I'm moving out; along with my roommate who has certainly had her share of craziness for now.

Frack this noise. Time to find a new place to live.

Did I mention that I'm far too fracking busy to deal with this shite this month?
