Nice acronym, Mom!

Buffy ,'Showtime'

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Unless I am right and they are wrong. Obviously.

Duh, I had meant to add unless Cass says so to that.

Hi Todd! How are you feeling? Work still munching you from the bottom?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I've been in lurker mode for a while, but I wanted to pop in and say something.

A while ago some of you were posting about your fears that you were ass moms. You aren't. In the time I've been on this board I've been impressed with the love and care you've displayed for the kids. From the first news of pregnancy to the birth and throughout, every mother on this board - and a lot of non-mothers - has been what every child should have. You've been exasperated, furious, upset, or annoyed with your children, but the love still comes through. Every child should have a Buffista-type mom - someone who'll love them even when they fuss non-stop, even when they're at their most annoying. You give your children love, security, and the knowlege that they're never going to lose that. And THAT is priceless.

Waves southward to Laura.

Work's so-so. Busy, but I've been taking time off.

The good news? I went to the doctor Monday. I've officially lost the 20 pounds (and seven inches from my waist! had to buy a belt to keep my pants from falling off!), my blood pressure's low enough that the doctor cut my BP medication in half, my blood sugar's back in the normal range, and I have "the liver function of a 32-year-old". I'm assuming he meant a healthy one, not someone who attended ND and Kristin's party.

Thanks Todd. I do often suffer from the feelings of ass momness, also ass employee, ass wife. It is just so hard to do everything with the care and attention it needs to be done right. Bah.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Toddson! That is great news.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Congrats, Toddson! Wonderful health news.

Eh. The universe failed to make it a law and now no one takes my word as law. Even when I am Clearly Right.

This is why my mom gets to be a part-time Buffista. Well she can always be a 'fista. Just needs an invite for this thread so she doesn't read things that would shock her. About me. The rest of y'all can be as freaky as you want to be.

Cats have deigned to let me grab more sleep. Bodes well for me feeding them ever again.

I was gonna say, Cass, "Whatch still doing up, love?"
