Wow, AmyLiz. So far we have avoided any snow. I am hoping it stays that way a little longer.
Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
We get the lovely lake effect stuff up here. Just twenty miles south in Syracuse, schools are open and they didn't get anywhere near as much.
Um, yay.
Oh, and Laura, if you're around, we are close to Oswego -- it's just sixteen miles north of us.
Dang, that's a lot of snow. Right now it's colder than Satan's heart out here, and I really don't want to go outside. However, going outside must happen if errands are to be run.

waiting for coffee... hard
Okay, my sad muscle injury saga continues. I woke up, fed the cats, dealt with the boiler (it was 50-some degrees in my apartment this morning!), took a shower (luckily there was plenty of hot water) and took a step into my bedroom to get dressed and felt something pop! in my calf.
Yes, I pulled a different muscle in my left leg. When I was able to hobble enough to get somewhat dressed and go to the front of the apartment I called in. Have now called the doctor, and my landlord (heat!) and wrapped the leg and hobbled (very carefully) back downstairs to deal with the boiler again.
I am eating oatmeal and then I'm going to take my oxaproxin and nap on the sofa.
{{{sumi}}}
oh, no, sumi! I'm sorry. This seriously sucks.
I spoke to my doctor's nurse and she said I was doing the right stuff and that according to my recent blood test all my electrolytes were good (so not a potassium issue) and she would talk to my doctor about a referral to an orthoped.
Oh, sumi!! Rest yourself today. Is your heat back on?
