[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Hey DJ! Much better, thanks. I've finished the current round of grade-forever-and-then-write-student-comments-that-take-forever and have planned my lessons for the rest of next week, so it's just vacation countdown time at this point (ND and I leave for Disneyworld a week from Saturday!). Plus, we're throwing a fun party on Saturday that I'm really looking forward to. How about you?

ETA: t gropes Suzi back

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Vacation countdown sounds nice.

I'm doing better. Found out I had viral pneumonia. No antibiotics, no (or very little cough suppressant), no smoking. Just rest and misery. I'm getting better though. May attempt work tomorrow.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Found out I had viral pneumonia.

Wha? And Casper had pneumonia too.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Be careful with that, DJ. It can be a bitch. Be sure to sleep well propped up.

Thanks. I'm debating whether or not they'd even want me there with my Typhoid Maryness and all. Not to be confused with Mary Sueness, which I almost typed. That would just make all the men inexplicably be drawn to me and the women jealous until I selflessly saved their asses on an impossible project....

My office mate made me feel old today.... I mentioned "o hey, it's the day that will live forever in Infamy"

:: blank stare ::

did a fab imitation of FDR's radio address using the line

:: more blank stares ::

sigh... what do they teach kids in school these days (or those days about 6 years ago, as he is 20 something)

I suppose I can't bitch too much. He did drag me to Serenity and got me hooked on Firefly.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I suppose I can't bitch too much. He did drag me to Serenity and got me hooked on Firefly.
Biting the hand that feeds a little, aren't we? [oh, fuck it. my sense of humor is just not showing in the text. I hate when I lose control of the fonts.]

Okay, youtube is being a bitch and it is making think I should just sleep instead. Because I cannot bitchslap through the intertubes.

He is not a sound guy. (seeing how the Lighting dept has 1 male and 2 female's, this should narrow it down).
