One of the professional staff members worked in Japan for a few years before coming back to the US and starting work here. He just made us some delicious o-cha from Akita Prefecture.
Good cha is so warming.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Matilda = OMG SUCH CUTENESS!
I had lunch with an old coworker and saw her baby too, so now I'm all "OMGWTFBABIES!"
But in diet news, I pretty much screwed the pooch on, you know, the rest of the day's food, by eating a damn salad! On what planet should a salad have 783 calories?!?
Seekrit message to Trudy: My last cycle was 48 days. Want I should send you some extra days? I'll push them through teh intarwebs.
Ok. I have to leave in 7 minutes to go get my mom and go have the icky test.
If I take her car and run away, I won't ever have to have the test, right? It'll make it go away, right?
I don't wanna do this. It's gonna be an hour of ickiness, followed by hours of uncomfortableness and potential pain. Blech.
On what planet should a salad have 783 calories?!?
Planet McDonalds?
vw, can you take a bunch of pain killers before the test? Head it off at the pass, so to speak?
JOSEPH, THIS IS NOT HOW YOU EXPERIMENT WITH THE TIME MACHINE
Huh. Must have pressed the wrong button.
Yeah. I'm taking 800 mg of Ibuprofen at 1:30. I'm probably over-stressing about this. But, the last time they warned me of cramping, it was really unbearable, and that test was only a few minutes...not a whole hour. So, I'm kind of getting all worked up.
Planet McDonalds?
It was Bob Evans! Granted, they're not exactly a pantheon of "lite food," but for heaven's sake, it's just a damn salad! It didn't even have the good lettuce!
I am so distraught. I could have picked something that would have been better, probably, but noooooooo, I had to go with the salad, cause it's SUPPOSED to be healthy. Bastards.
However, the fog that's been encompassing my brain for the last two days seems to have lifted temporarily. I guess that's what happens when you actually, you know, have food.
Laura, I don't know how you do it, but I am even more impressed.
Huh. Must have pressed the wrong button.
sigh.
Ok. Being brave. See you all later!
