[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Nora, I think you could totally rock the angled bob.

Can you (or anyone in the know) link me to a site so I can print out pictures? The stylist is a timid type and I just want to hand her a picture and say "This."

Also, I've been at work for a half hour and am already pissed off beyond belief.

What is even happening?

Nora, scroll down the page, to the picture of the bob, under the header "SHORT" (on the right). [link]

Is that the sort of bob you're considering?

(I meant the brunette with the blond streak, but actually, the blond's cut just beneath might work on you, too.)

I think I want a steeper angle. But I like that cut (brunette with blond streak) too.

Art Crawl!!!

It was 5 degrees when my alarm went off and it's up to a balmy 7 degrees now (according to Weatherbug.)

I am dressed in layers - but I feel a bit clownish. I think it's the red skirt. (Skirt, acrylic sweater, tights, leggings, wool sweater, and cotton cardigan. I wore socks over the tights when I was in my boots and, of course, my wool overcoat, hat, scarf and gloves.)

It felt warmer than yesterday - I think it's less windy and it is sunnier so I'm happier. (Also, 5 degrees is our low for the day, it's only supposed to go down to 20 tonight.)

Those are cute bobs. I'm thinking of chopping my hair off. Just doing myself for the personal satisfaction.

sumi, I'm gettnig colder just reading your post. How's your knee, today?

Nora, here's an illustration with a sharper angle: [link]

I've been looking for photos with a similar angle, for myself.

Art Crawl!!!

My knee is refusing to improve. (In fact, I think I should go take some ibuprophen right now.) I have been getting a fairly constant Charley Horse in that leg too. I need to do that calf stretch more regularly.

Sigh. I mostly just feel like I'm falling apart.

I think how much they can angle your bob depends on your hairline and facial structure.

Because books.

It's snowing like hell here (lake effect) but it's not that cold, sumi. Thank goodness you bundled up well. Your mother would be proud!

Those are cute bobs. I'm thinking of chopping my hair off.

I'm growing mine out so I can have a bob again!

ION, I've come to the conclusion I watch too much TV. Lorelai and Rory were in my dream last night. and they had two mean cats.

sumi, I'm sorry your knee is still giving you major grief. That just sucks so much.

Our wings are not tired.

I want to share my warmth with all the chilly Bitches. Range of temps all this week is high in the 70s and lows in the 60s. I love this time of year. It makes me remember why I live here.

Both Nora and sumi have great hair for the angled bob. I'm jealous, but right now I don't mind my hair. A bit thin on top, but this ain't gonna change so I've decided to not let it bother me.
