How'd the new doctor turn out, Kristin? It's always nervous-making for me to meet a new doctor and hope it's going to be someone I can click with.
The good news is that I really like her! The bad news is that she told me all the same "get healthy, exercise, no sugar, blah blah blah" stuff that doctors seem to think is important.
Ah well.
Also? Gained 5 MORE lbs. Dammit.
t tacklehugs everyone in thread, just cuz
Omnis, Vortex is coming to visit ND and me this Wednesday! We are lucky lucky people.
Speaking of that, K, were there ever plans really made? Me no 'member.
A, no plans made other than getting together. We'll be in massive clean/decorate mode still, so we were thinking about maybe plying Vortex with wine and conversation as we worked. Want to join?
As for the giant gnats. Ya. Um. Sound guy. I like it quiet.
It's a *good* sound though... Craziness.
What is entertaining is the race fans who feel the need to skimp on the $12 parking and clog our over-parked streets. They FLOCK to the empty side of the street... Miracle! A whole side of the street empty! As they walk away, if they look nice, I gently point out, "Street Sweeping" and notify them it's a $35 ticket. It'd be cheaper to park closer and pay the toll than the parking ticket.
That is insanity. The tickets aren't exactly cheap, pay for the damn parking already.
Or, you know, follow big-name drivers and park next to them like I did in Portland this year. In my defense? People kept waving me through. I would have happily handed them money and parked in the other places but if you wave me through before I've had my coffee? Ima follow the car in front of me across the track into the infield. Then park and look for some freaking coffee.

omg! You just made me laugh out loud. Not a LOL, but really laugh out loud! Ha! Coffee Junkies! Somehow I never got hooked on the stuff. A shower and OJ does me great in the morning.
I agree with KristinT:
