I may, it's just that everyone I'll be with has seen me wearing those for like the past month. You're probably right though. I don't feel like shaving so I can wear a dress.
I like having lost weight. I hate not having clothes that fit.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I missed all the high school talk! I went to Fundie Baptist school from Kindergarten through 10th grade. On church grounds, natch. Guess who is having a hard time attending church now? Then my family moved to Europe and my school had about 60 people total, and my graduating class was 15? I disremember now. Since those classmates were from all over the world, it's much harder to get back in contact with them.
My parents went to Bob Jones. Dad enjoyed it, mostly because he was an A/V geek and sort of fell between the cracks. Mom hated it because she was always getting in trouble. I laughed when BJU sent me an application, and went pretty much the most opposite way possible to a very liberal college.
I bought my very first car after I graduated from college. Didn't have much use for one before then. I bought my second car on Halloween this year. It's purty.
Dear Whiny Bitch,
Thanks, but I don't need you to run to the manager over a sniping between me and a co-worker. It was a nothing incident. Grow the fuck up and shut it while you're at it.
Fuck you very much,
Aimee
Poor Aimee. I'm sorry your day is so trying. How much longer do you have to be there?
1 hour, 35 minutes.
G-D effing effers all over the place.
God, I have a zit on my lip that is driving me mental. Also: have brewed a new batch of beer, a half batch of holiday spiced (with dried orange, cinnamon, and ginger) mild ale. Should be interesting!
Also also: Jessica, we took your long ago Trader Joes' advice and are cooking mahi mahi (because for once we didn't have tilapia) in the TJ green Thai curry sauce! And tomorrow I am going to try the new Cooks Illustrated recipe for Thai chicken soup. Exciting! (I hope this portion of this post does not make you want to hurl.) (If so, I apologize.)
We are supposed to go on a "date" tonight to a) return beer bottles b) go to Home Depot for a slider door charlie bar (the locksmith couldn't change that lock) and Bed Bath and Beyond for some scoping out what to spend our shiny new gift card on. One thing: a new travel mug for Nora! (this will be my third one, dammit).
Have done online Xmas shopping for a critical mass of our peeps, so that's good. So, kind of productive. Drained our savings for assorted crap. That sucks. But I guess that's what it's there for.
So we got a labeler. the first thing we are labeling is a bottle of wine for a friend. I do not think it was the purpose for which we bought said labeler.
I made pumpkin bread and wrapped two groups of presents . and figured out what I needed to get . feels productive,
off to a party
My boobs and I feel validated. We thank you all.
P.S. ND and I just bought out Target's holiday section. We now own a fake tree (which I'm trying really hard not to let bother me since I've always been a bit of a tree purist), a ton of tree decorations, a wreath, garland, and way more lights than any two people should own(Note: none of them icicle. I think landlady/backyard neighbor has that covered given that her entire house is covered in them--some of which chase each other. Verra excited icicle lights.). We need to clean before we can decorate. We've decided to rebel and do neither tonight.
Yay rebellion!
Daisy, I hope, most of all, that you are having a smashing time tonight. That's what I notice most when i'm out with friends.
{Aims} I hope the day is better now and that you're out the door and heading for a happy evening.
High school: 9th grade was a normal school. 10th grade was a very small fundie private school. 11th and 12th was a very small school in NE Montanta with a graduating class of 10, and one flunked, but he walked to keep the numbers even.
I'm a tree purist too. I love the real tree, but with the small fry and the cats and the dog it just wasn't a good idea. So, we returned the ugly tree and went to buy the better tree and then I talked Greg into a twice as good tree with the explanation that it was really only spending half as much since we'd already spent the other half... he actually bought that. I think he's less mathy than I am. (Really, I think he wanted to make me happy. At least this one looks a lot more like a real tree.)
