It gets better: my friend's stuff was in the car, and she left it in there before going back to class. Also, my BFF and I had made plans to go to the Exploratorium, which were then foiled, but we instead went and explored the North Bay a bit, and she enjoyed herself anyway.

My car got towed yesterday! Because apparently I was blocking someone's driveway! It cost me a lot of money and made me sad!

That sucks. We had our car towed once because they went and posted signs after we'd parked it that all the cars on our street had to be moved before a marathon. But it was between street sweeping days and we didn't need the car so there was no reason to go look at the change in signs.

They really rack up the money by charging you hundreds and hundreds to store the car at the lot. As it was, we had to wait two days to get our paychecks to get it out and that cost us about $250 extra. Also, the lot was way the fuck out in nowheresville and very difficult to get to.

Hee Aimee! I ventured into a BMW dealership once to test drive their minivan thing. The attitude of the salesperson pissed me off so much I wouldn't have purchased from him if he gave me the vehicle for half price. No I did not feel it was a privilege for him to allow me to buy a car.

Boggled at the notion of Kristin being wildly unpopular and mostly ignored or scorned. It is probably a good thing that I have almost no recollection of my teen years. I'll just create a happy memory in those empty braincells.

Yeah, I was sort of prepared it for to be over a hundred, but I didn't want it to be close to two hundred. Plus the parking ticket. It's just...it can't POSSIBLY cost that much.

Well, let me tell you. As someone who has been working here for almost a year, in the service department, DON'T BUY ONE.

As a for instance: The X5's and X3's have been having an issue where oe of the rear windows will fall off the track and not go back up. It has been proven time and time again, that for all of the years that the X5 has been in exixtence, that about a year after you have the window on one side fixed, the other one will break. It's an issue that is at least 6 years old. But has BMW found a way to fix it so it doesn't happen? Nope. Why? Because in order to fix it, the entire door panel has to come off. At least 2 hours of labor at $125/hr, plus parts. That's why. I will never ever ever own a BMW. Unless it's free. And then, I would sell it and buy something else. IMHO, if you spend that much money on a vehicle, you shouldn't know the service people by name.

I will say that a lot fo the time, the issues come from overanxious customers. "Oh my god, I passed wind and could hear it in the car! The seals are faulty! Replace them all!" But more often than not, it's some simple thing that shouldn't happen.

Plus, I'm convinced that A LOT of people lose about 70 IQ points when they buy these things. I get screamed at for the cars RUNNING OUT OF WINDSHEILD FLUID. I have learned that a car is undriveable if it has no windsheild wiper fluid. I didn't know that. @@ And people REFUSE to put it in themselves. They'd rather pay $125/hr for us to do it. They don't know anything about their vehicles and when they call, they get pissed of at me because I don't know. If I knew, I'd be fixing your car for $125/HR!! Not making barely more than minimum wage. Read the owner's manual. Be a man. Suck it in and put the goddamn windshield fluid in your.self. Fuck, man.

In conclusion, I very much dislike BMW's. And a lot of the people that own them. Present company excluded, naturally.

Aww. Thanks sweetie. I was just an awkward kid who was a little too smart and a little too outspoken to fit into the twisted world that is pre-teen social life. Besides, it was the 80's. I really never got the 80's, and it felt the same way about me.

Luckily, I was high school during the early 90's. Grunge fit me a heckuva lot better than the "material girl" 80's had. Plus, I discovered theatre! Nothing like finding drama jocks and realizing you've found people as weird as you.
