Is it a Magic Tuna Bowl or a Magic Make The Monkey Jump Bowl?A little bit of both actually...
Tequila!Writing Night sounds like exactly what you need, Amy.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should show up with tequila and announce that one of them gets to take you home.
Well, to your home.

I'm so, so sorry, sweets. May Stephen find something immediately (if not sooner) that pays big $$$ and allows you and your family to move to wherever you please.
What she said - and may the new big $$$ job be in Florida. Hey, I'm selfish.
Happy Birthday Emeline!
Happy Birthday Sara!

Hope I haven't missed anyone.
Also, ow. I was trying to find something to make for dinner, and searching through my cabinets for pasta. I always have pasta, but I couldn't see any. I saw a bag in the back that I thought might be some, so I stood on a chair to try to reach it. Still had to stretch, and just as I grabbed the bag, something in my shoulder decided it didn't want to stretch quite that far. Pulled a muscle or something. Very ow.
Also? The bag turned out to be rice. (Why do I have about 5 pounds of rice and no pasta?)
Ugh, AmyLiz, that's terrible news. Many hugs to you, and much -ma to Stephen in finding, as said above, a kick-ass new job with all the trimmings. More hugs, for good measure.

Happy Birthday, Emeline!
Happy Birthday +1, Sara!
{{{AmyLiz and family}}} I'm so sorry. I hope Stephen find a new, better paying job soon, and that your plan to move doesn't have to be delayed.
After all the years of going to the library I finally took a good look at their shelves of used books -- hardcovers for fifty cents, paper for thirtyfive. They had What to Expect in Your First Year, which my coworker was talking about wanting.
I also found a treasure trove of YA romances from the 80s but I limited myself to five. The Sweet Valley High books and a few others including the one with Courtney Cox as the cover girl.
At our downtown library's used book store I got a nearly complete set of Yale Shakespeare Library for $60. I should go back there soon.
amy liz - my best to Stephen - may he find something better sooner.
