[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I didn't bring any leftovers home from Thanksgiving, and it's probably just as well...didn't eat any food yesterday (hellooooo migraine--I have no earthly idea how ita and Betsy continue to lead vaguely normal lives, these knock me right out--have to either be lying down in the dark, or puking). And today, I am doing laundry and dishes and packing then flying to San Francisco! Whee!!!

Should probably eat something, though, since I haven't since turkey. Um.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Today (and yesterday) were pajama days chez Sail. Not only have the communists invaded, but they brought along their friend the rhinovirus. At least the Theraflu has helped with the cramps, too. It's the small things that make it worth staying up. That, and the fact they've been hammering on the walls since 8:00 this morning putting up new insulation. Nice to think my heating bill will be lower this winter, but I'd rather be able to sleep late on a SATURDAY. Asshats.

Pajama day is a very good idea, Nora. Sorry about the family stress.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Well, it's par for the course. As I said to Tom on the way home, "if I wasn't upset by their behavior, then I'd think I'd backslid in my own emotional progress!" But thanks, because expecting it does not actually make it any less obnoxious/annoying/hurtful.

Mine was less stressy this this year because my mother's family all went home early, so I was unable to go visit them. The only bad part fo the day was having someone remark on how much weight I have gained, while I was having dessert.

He's not technically a relative and not wrong, so I tried to make a joke of it and let it slide.

I'm getting the pig!

Next day, easy on the shampoo and heavy on the conditioner.
