I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Oh my: Experiment 214, the Diet Coke-Mentos exploration continues.

Very Geeky.

What is even happening?

Chris is old enough to play basketball?!? How is that possible?
I hear you, meara. Well, he's only 6 (and a half) and "playing" basketball might be putting it a bit too generously, but he is on a team. Some of the other kids on his team (the team is made up of 1st and 2nd graders) are really something. I feel kind of badly for Chris, because he's playing like you might expect a first time bb player to play. At six.

An undomesticated Amy. A hungry, horny, risk attracted Amy.
Not to tell tales out of school, but I'm not sure that Amy's too buried. She definitely lurks.
"How do you know about inclined planes, mommy?"
"Um. I learned about them in geometry. In tenth grade."
Ha!
For real. Seriously though, how does he know about inclined planes at age 6?

Hec? Bob me? Please? Topic!Cindy "Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else" Nov 18, 2006 1:27:44 pm PST

Because books.

::blushing::

Oh my. I should totally fish for attention more often.

You've got some innate cool, and physical confidence.

Wow. Thos are two things I would never say about myself. Whee!

You will probably be disappointed to know that I am letting my hair grow. But only to chin length, so I can do an angled bob. I miss having hair that moves.

We were talking about you today-- I went shopping with Sparky and Suzi

::is jealous::

Did you read the first two books, Lee? You don't really have to, but the payoff of Cian and Moira is even better when you have. I am such a sucker for a brooding, tormented vampire, it's a bit sad.

as soon as I meet real, live Buffistas, any trepidation goes away. I have never before felt so immediately accepted.

This. There's a definite feeling of finding your tribe. And wherever more than one Buffista is gathered, there's a lot of love in the room. And I don't even mean porn!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I did! I seem to be all about the serial books these days.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Seriously though, how does he know about inclined planes at age 6?

We learned the phrase in fifth grade, in the list of simple machines -- inclined plane, pulley, screw ... I think there were five? Can't remember the rest. It's totally possible that he learned that list in a science lesson, or on a TV show.

t edit: lever, wheel, and wedge are the others

Because books.

Lee, I just friended you on LJ, by the way. Why had I not done that before? Silly.

More recollections, since you just reminded me!

Lee = so sharp, and with that wry, knowing smile. You always look like thoughts are just clicking through your brain at warp speed.

Sparky = also wee! And so pretty, and so very, very friendly, like we'd known each other forever. And despite the weeness, as if she could totally take anyone in the room.

I'm not sure that Amy's too buried. She definitely lurks.

::winks at Cindy::

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cindy, as soon as The Fussa is not in my arms, I'll check the bob files. You should recruit Ple to the cause since her research for her cut went further afield. (Amy feel free to take notes.)

Cool! I will do the same, and thanks for telling me, because I tend not to notice such things.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Bobs for Cindy!

Inverted, side and back

Angled bob, thick hair, some layering

Really nice line on angled bob

Shiny bob with bangs

Natalie Portman's Bob (good for side angle and bangs)

Contemporary tousled bob

Gorgeous A-line bob from the side. (some wave to the hair so a good ref for Cindy)

A-line bob from the back. Classic.

Narrow bangs. Slightly longer bob Very pretty, but versatile on a lot of faces. This is a good length.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Libkitty has just an awesome voice.

And a cool RL name.

Lee was taller than I expected. I tend to assume people are about my height. Aimee looked just like her pictures, but better. Erin's voice was so light and lilting! Tep was like Girl Oz! Seriously, my first impression of Tep in my mental file is Girl Oz. Trudy had a great nose.

Robin was just freaking stunning, with great hair.

Fay made a comfortable pillow.

Jess was hella pretty.

Sophia was so striped and stylish!

Brenda glows and is just beautiful.
