When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

{{Hil}} May your weekend lay low, lay off and let you get stuff done. Glasses~ma.

ION, I went to the opera tonight. The best part? Standing in line for the coat check afterward and having a red satin ass to drool over. Seriously, there is nothing like slick, shiny, cheek hugging, red satin covered ass. I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted to pinch it, bite it or lick it. So I did none of those as she was not a Buffista and may have startled unreasonably at a complete stranger taking a chomp out of her red satin ass.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I am getting this in just under the wire:

Perkiest of Sugary Pink and Black Birthdays, Jilli! I hope you had a marvelous day.

ION, look upon my works and despair, for lo, I have organised my closet. The Container Store is guilty of aiding and abetting. Total time? 4 hours. It's wonderful not to be attacked by shoes when I open the door. The pointy ones hurt, damnit.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sekret message for Aimee: tonight, at the concert, Natalie wore gauchos.

brillig

I have a package of that Nihilist chewing gum. Gum without added flavor is just odd. And it's not that sweet.

Our wings are not tired.

Mom just called. She and s-d are on their way. They maybe visit once or twice a year, so I get excited. Going to Bobby's baseball game then the guys are going to the races. Mom gets tired easily so I imagine she'll probably rest and read most of the weekend. I baked banana bread last night and made a batch of candies that she made when we were kids as a surprise. I set some aside for her to take back to my sibs.

I should be getting my dishes done.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronklies.

I need to go grade papers and work on the talk I'm giving on Monday. I'm not quite awake yet. I also have no food here for breakfast and no coffee. Option 1 is go to Starbucks, get coffee and a danish, eat at the office, and then get to work. Option 2 is go back to sleep, forget about breakfast, then wake up around lunchtime and go get lunch then. Option 1 is probably the more responsible one, but Option 2 is looking nice.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

We got up early 'cause the contractors were supposed to be here at 8am, but surprise! (or NSM) they won't be coming till 10:30. Maybe.

I'm working on a mix and waiting till I have to get ready for the farm/lunch with our farm-mates (who is Tom's boss, who I am not currently pleased with for work related reasons) so I'm trying to mentally work on boundaries and compartmentalization.

Also trying to decide if the Disintegration or Remixed version of Lullaby (The Cure) is creepier.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I prefer the Disintegration version.

yeah, I'm leaning that way as well.
