I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm sure she's wonderful. But for whatever reason they simply didn't work.

She moved to Texas to be with her daughter. And then proceded to ask The Boy to move to Texas.

He's going to take one look at her and wonder why he ever EVER thought I was a good idea.

I'm getting the pig!

Also, I'm going to see if I can find the 3rd "Sorcery & Cecelia" as a birthday present to myself.

oooh-- I am about half way through the second one.

Lee - I finally finished the first one that you loaned me. (And I adored it. Thank you!) I should be mailing it (and your dvds) back to you soon.

Happiest of Birthdays to Jilli on Jilli-Day!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Teppy - you are not bland. You are French vanilla with cinnamon and raisins and pumpkin pie spice , with three topping of your choice. and didn't The Boy use the L word? She can't compete with that.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I can brine for eight and dry overnight. Is it worth doing if I do it for 12 hours?

Yes.

And I'm, y'know, blonde and bland and pale and chubby fat and I'm cranky and difficult and make it really hard for people to even get to know me, much less love me, and I have huge issues that make me an emotional minefield.

I'ma hafta come over there and smack some sense into you.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Teppy, don't be silly. The Boy LUVRES you. You're all good.

Also? On "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me", there was a gaucho put-down this past weekend. Just thought the gaucho-haters might appreciate it.

Actually, I just looked at AB's recipe I linked and it only calls for 6 hours of brining. I think I made it 8 hours in my mind because I do it overnight, and overnight=8 hours. So that will be a couple more hours for air drying, crispy skinned goodness!

Because books.

He's going to take one look at her and wonder why he ever EVER thought I was a good idea.

He will take one look at her and think, "Thank the GODS I met Teppy, who is incredibly smart and funny and lush and sexy and knows how to use a semi-colon, for heaven's sake."

I promise.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

And then proceded to ask The Boy to move to Texas.

Which he proceeded not to do. He proceeded to continue to live in Cincy and fall in love with YOU.

I'ma hafta come over there and smack some sense into you.
