Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

It's for a tenure track associate or assistant professor position. I'm still ambivalent about it but I am applying. They are starting a new sound program and the professor they hired already is my old mentor and he has asked/pushed for me to apply. There are a lot of items in the pro and con columns on this one.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILLI!!

Some first impressions of the Buffistas I met:

juliana: "Joe's gonna leave me for her."

Plei: We woke up the entire hotel squealing and jumping and hugging in the parking lot when her and Paul pulled into the drive.

Hec: I ran across the parking lot and literally jumped into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist.

Kristin: Wow. SO tiny, and yet...so much there!

ND: Nice shirt.

Jilli: A very loud squeal whilst running across the terminal at the Burbank airport. I passed Pete up.

Parker: At long freaking last! My soulmate.

Clovis: Shorter than he looks on television.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Neat. I love my job, but I'm starting to rethink the hours. There's a lot of other things I want to do, and I just have no time at all. Just taking a long lunch once in a while would be cool.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

First impression of Aimee: Huh. I wonder if she faints a lot.

Only in very crowded Santa Monica restaurants on a Friday night.

First impression of Lee: Must have robbed Tim Minear's house to have all of those Firefly scripts.

Our wings are not tired

I must have been wearing a hawaiian shirt that day.
