Willow ,'Bring On The Night'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Raq, those are beautiful boots! Now I wants.
I am sad that ita has not seen Wizard of Oz (and so is Toto), but we don't think you need to watch it. It's clearly not your thing, and that's ok with us.
But, yes. Everyone must see The Princess Bride. I watched that with my brothers and SIL this summer on our family vacation, and we were quoting the whole thing. My mom was all, "Why are you even bothering to watch this?" And we were all, "??????"
Another busy day here in vw land. This has been a very social weekend for me. I'm gonna need a weekend to recover from my weekend. It's been fun so far, though. Hopefully, it will continue.
So I discovered this morning that I have some of the recalled acetaminophen, and now I'm trying to decide what to do about it.
I've yet to see Grease from beginning to end.
TCG would love it, plus he would get twice the beer tasting because I don't drink beer.
Er, I don't think I would recommend drinking twice the beer, because 5 beers is a LOT of beer. (they weren't little tasters) Some of it was in smaller glasses, but... lots of beer. Some of it was high-alcohol like barleywine, imperial stout, belgian tripels...And LOTS of food. I don't think I could fit any more beer in me... I was starting to hit the wall by the time the entree came out!
Here's how it broke down:
First course- soup
I had:
Saffroned cauliflower
1/2 pint Hefeweizen
Tom:
Pale ale rock shrimp bisque
1/2 pint Tall Tale Pale Ale
The shrimp bisque was the runaway clear winner. The cauliflower soup was OK, but the bisque was marvelous. I should have gotten it, but it went against my plan to each have something different for each course.
Second course- appetizers
me:
Thai spiced quail with a mango, cashew and green papaya compote
Tulip of Tripel Threat
Tom:
Fried oysters with endive salad and lavender honey
Flute of L'amour du Jour
One of Tom's favorite courses and pairings. The L'amour was very delicate, and had lavender and citrus notes
Third course- salad
me:
Artichoke, fennel, hearts of palm, roasted pepper and herbed cheese terrine with a
cracked black pepper and pecorino dressing
Tulip of Golden Ring
an abbey style ale, really excellent. The terrine was just a big old pile of cheese with deliciousness in it! Yum.
Tom:
Mixed greens, fried tofu and taro root napoleon with candied ginger and chive oil vinaigrette
Tulip of Saison du CBC
fourth course- entree
me:
Smoked bone-in filet mignon with white asparagus, peruvian mashed potatoes and a porter hollandaise
Tear drop glass of Late Harvest IPA
sadly, they did not have the cask conditioned porter, but this was quite excellent as well
Tom:
Roasted duck breast with morel mushroom and barley "risotto", french beans and a savory demi glace
Pint of Amber Ale
fifth course- dessert
Tom:
Honeyed amber baklava
Flute glass of Arquebus Barleywine
Tom's first barleywine- he liked it. Not an everyday thing though, for sure.
me:
Cold fudge "sundae"
snifter YouEnjoyMyStout
OMG this almost killed me dead. One scoop rich rich chocolate gelato type ice cream, one dollop whipped cream, ONE SCOOP OF CHOCOLATE GANACHE. The beer was fantastic also.
good thing I am going to breakfast now

When's the last time you took any?
Consumers who believe they are in possession of the affected products should discontinue use immediately and call Perrigo's Consumer Affairs Department, 877-546-0454 for further instructions. Any adverse reactions experienced with the use of this product should be reported to Perrigo at the above number and the FDA's MedWatch Program by phone at 800-FDA-1088, by fax at 800-FDA-0178 or on the MedWatch website at www.fda.gov/medwatch.

A few days ago. I've taken almost half the bottle with no extra iron in my diet.
I just called the number and filled out a request for an information packet/return kit. Seems like a lot of effort for a generic brand $2 bottle of not!tylenol. Ah well, I'm part of the consumer process, right?
At least I don't take it very often. Now, if we start having problems with Excedrin, there's going to be issues.
I took two of a listed batch, the day before the recall. I've been trying not to think about it, telling myself it was only two.

How is dietary iron relevant (or, is this a joke I'm too fuzzyheaded to get)?
The bad acetaminophen has bits of iron in the capletts.
eta: metal shavings from some machinery, I think.
