Most people is pretty quiet right about now. Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, the urge to, you know, do stuff. Like work out, run around, maybe get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

And you'd do it sober in broad daylight!

you've never seen me hit a total stranger, ijs. my desire to and discussions about how I should, to the contrary.

I don't see it as much like jackass as like a Jaime Kennedy Experience or Candid Camera. Punked takes one person into a situation where everyone else is in on the joke. Cohen puts the one person who is in on the joke in amongst people who are not.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I have an embarrassment/humiliation squick.

I do, too, which is why I have a hard time watching Ugly Betty, despite how cute it is.

Art Crawl!!!

Me too -- so no Borat or Ugly Betty (or The Office) for me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

SB-C is a genius performer. Jackass has its charms, but it's not exactly social commentary. They might both be watch from the hall, but that's about all they have in common.

ITA, even if I have no interest in seeing the movie. (From everything I've read, it's nowhere near as sharp or as funny as his material from Da Ali G Show, and since that's available on DVD, I don't feel the need to spend $10 on the dumbed-down version.)

(Okay, and I disagree about Jackass having its charms.)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I have an embarrassment/humiliation squick.

Me four. I like SBC - he's amazingly intelligent and sharp, but I just can't get around to seeing Borat right now.

Now tagless for your comfort.

FWIW, I also can't stand it when Stewart and Colbert pull the same stunts on their shows.

DH HATESHATESHATES this part of TDS. He can't stand the "interviews" where the people are so oblivious that they're being spoofed. He says it's mean spirited--which it is.

It's the reason he doesn't watch the show with me.

I don't like The Colbert Show and hate those segments on TDS.

I love The Office, but there are times when I have to fast-forward through the really humiliating Michael bits. Sometimes Dwight, too.
