Thanks for the birthday happies, guys! I think I must be a rain god, because the clouds seems to be wishing me happy birthday too.
For my birthday, I saw a morning screening of Happy Feet (NOT the carefree romp the trailers and posters would have you believe!) and then went to an open-house. The apartment turned out to be AMAZING, and DH and I both really want it. So now we have to start seriously talking to bank people about money. We have no idea what we're doing. Wish us luck!
Happy Birthday, Jessica!
So I'm watching Cruel Intentions (in memory of Reese-n-Ryan!), and it's funny how everyone in it is recognizable. I forgot that the shrink's daughter is Tara Reid, and the guy in bed with Pacey is the boss on Ugly Betty. Funny.
That movie is one of my guilty pleasures. In no small part because Ryan Phillipe is one of my guilty pleasures.
Happy Birthday, Jessica!
In other news, I need to stop watching
What You Get for the Money
on HGTV. It's kinda depressing.
Happy Birthday, Jess! You're thinking of buying an apartment? In what neighborhood?
Good bank luck, Jess!

Watching it on basic cable is really tragic -- not only is half the dialog fucked up, they cut scenes left and right.

I know, right? By this time next year, I'll be (fingers crossed) a homeowner with a kid. Crazy!
The apartment's in Kensington, about halfway between the F and B/Q Church Ave stations.
I know that we require 12 months (24 in some cases) of bills to prove a solid non-traditional credit history, so that's my guideline. Also 12 months of cancelled rent checks.
Although if you pay everything online, you can pull that stuff up without saving (and filing paper).
And that's all I've got 'cept GO SAINTS!
Yeah, that's all it is, but they're really pretty....
Not only really pretty, but there's a link where you can vote. I could waste
hours
on the pretty.

Dialog, I can fill in the blanks. Cuts are just wrong though. I mean, that's the best stuff... Maybe I should just buy the damn movie finally.
It got so dark here around 2 that I was convinced the day was over and I had wasted it. So now it's only 4:30 and I have done 2 passes of paint stripping in the bathroom, washed dishes, cleaned out a hall closet, and put away a pile of clothes.
Now I need food.
oh dear. After reading that I think I need to become a lot more productive.
