and the post as party chief has been offered to Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele.

HAhahahah! That's hilarious. Well, guess he decided the "Democrats for Steele" campaign just didn't work all that well.

It actually makes sense that the RNC would want to pick him up. He's pretty charismatic and I think would have a good political future if he weren't running in Maryland.

Excellent! Thank you, guys. I'm so bad at recalling things with that sort of key.

My next alcoholic beverage? Might be a tequila shot or seven RIGHT FREAKING NOW if I don't get more job search news.

I think tonight will be "use up the Triple Sec" night. I've got a box of various mid-level mixing alcohols, and no one ever drinks any of it at parties, so I'm sloooooowly getting rid of it. Please to suggest things it would mix with besides sour mix.

(On Wednesday, I was mixing triple sec, blue curacao, and sour mix and calling it a Blue Christmas.)

My next drink will probably be a glass of red wine from a bottle my cousin gave me for my birthday.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart
