Honestly, I love my family. I enjoy spending time with them (when they aren't doing inlaw drama.) I look forward to seeing them. But right now? My found family holiday is what I look forward to. No weird loaded expectations, no obligations. Just people. That I like. Who entertain me.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Is it wrong that I hope I feel about 3% worse tomorrow morning, so that I can justify not going to work?

I'm only working a partial day tomorrow. CJ has an orthodontist appointment at 11am. He will offically enter the braces phase of pre-teen life. Poor boy.

Burrell, I highly advocate running away.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Welcome to the club. We have a secret handshake and everything. Or we would if we weren't all avoidy.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Survivor was excellent tonight: "Jonathan, getting frustrated by me!" "Day 21!" Ha!

I would love to run away, sarameg. But I think I'm going to get roped into either hosting--feh!--or going out to dinner, which just isn't right for the holiday in my book.

I'm hoping I can pull off Plan C: MiL and those as wants go out to dinner, me, hubs, and the kids have dinner with my extended family at lifelong neighbor's house, and then we meet up with MiL and DH's family for dessert at my house.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there
