Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

I'm surprised that no one has noted that Berkeley passed a presidental impeachment measure.

So! Who wants to help with my math? It's voting related!

If there are four voters, with voting weights of 30, 29, 28, and 13, and if one, and only one, of the voters has veto power,

a) which voter has veto power?
b) find the quote.
c) is any voter a dummy?

Clearly Voter A (with 30 votes) has veto power, and I don't think any are dummy voters, but I can't figure out the quota. I'm guessing it's 100, but that seems too easy.

Punishingly Intricate

I guess my motto needs to be more Latin in order to be used as the state one. Anybody familiar enough w/ Latin care to translate?

Me, apparently, since I don't know what you're talking about.

Now tagless for your comfort.

According to Talking Head Toobin on CNN, Virginia's potential recount won't help Allen. He said most of the votes are electronic and therefore not "recountable" per se. They're canvassing the electronic counts but he said it's unheard of for a candidate to pick up several thousand votes in this situation.

I have no Latin or Math ability to speak of.

Well, then, me too. This weighted voting stuff is crazy.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Actually, just spoke with major election geek at the office. According to him, the VA AG race last year had a recount because the original count showed a 300 vote difference. The recount changed the margin by about 27.

BTW, according to the same EG, apparently 3 precincts, total of about 1500 residents, still haven't reported in VA.

Shrift, are you done with the craxy? I think we need it back. Like, say you sent your BigBoss a letter giving notice, and he responded that he "does not accept." Um, okay?

Not really quite sure what comes next in this little drama. Nor when we veered away from Steve Carrell towards Costanzaland.
