Suspect it is all about available properties in an area in relation to the nearest district line.
I suspect you are quite right on this. My apartment building is the dividing line between precincts. It's just annoying to drive by my house and see the polling place RIGHT THERE and have to keep going to get to where I vote.
Has he done his speech yet? It would be awesomely hilarious if he came out and reversed his stance on all gay issues.
AP's exit numbers are also finding a surprisingly high number of evangelicals going Dem
I've been hearing a lot lately about a big green movement with evangelicals, which I find very interesting.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Why does Tim Rssert insist on using that damn tiny whiteboard?!?!?
Was PA an officially red state?
Is it true that Crist is homosexual?
Probably. Of course, his base will be totally shocked. That will be fun.
I got all the way to post #8345 before I realised that Theo hadn't dropped an aitch from the name. I could stand to be a wee bit more up on the news. Or a wee bit more lying down.
Baltimore City and Montgomery County.
Heh. Two of the most Democratic areas in the state.
Aaaaaaaand now it appears they've backed off. Someone remind me again why I do this to myself?
I probably should have phrased that more like "Governor-elect Crist" but that's water over the dam.
JZ just gave me permission to beat down JS and CM
I almost put a fist through the screen when CM was yapping at Howard Dean. Nasty little toad (I'd elaborate but am typing one-fingered due to breast limpet).
While you're beating them down, mind taking a swing at Tucker Carlson for me?
Well, I'm gonna turn off my computer so I can watch TDS/Colbert, and then take a shower and go to bed, so I can get into work at 6:30 tomorrow morning. Good thing about that is that I'll be able to go home at 2:30!
I'm pulling for y'all...I'm a fake hometown girl.
Hon. Yeah, JZ.
They mess with my boyfriend, they mess with me. And they're idiots who need to drink a big glass of shut the hell up. I will probably kill one of them and beat the other ones with him.
ChiKat, my elem school, not a block.5 away from my home was not my parents' polling place growing up. We had to drive to their voting place. It's weird.
And now I can't recall my parents' polling places. Despite remembering pulling the levers for them and the KA-CHUNK. So awesome. Maybe the old Junior High, maybe the Lutheran Church.
