For example, CNN projected Lieberman to win. But now, 30 minutes later, it's Lieberman 45% and Lamont 45% with 11% of the precincts reporting.
I think it's based on what they expect to see versus what they saw. Like, in New York, if upstate was leaning toward a Democrat state-wide, it would be a good bet that they'd win, since the city is so Democratic.
Maybe it's the cheap pinot grigio, but I could swear MSNBC's showing Steele(R) losing with 57% of the vote.
I'm basing off of what is running on the bottom of my screen during The Unit. So.....
CNN is calling Whitehouse over Chafee.
Maybe it's the cheap pinot grigio, but I could swear MSNBC's showing Steele(R) losing with 57% of the vote.
CNN was showing that too. Madness! Now if only some 30,000 votes would magically swing toward Jim Webb in Virginia...
Have woken up from nap. Hmmm - I took a nap in 2004 too and woke up really depressed.
Oh, I don't know if folks have posted this, but TDS and Colbert are going to be combined into one freakish monster of a show. Oh, and live too.
I think it's based on what they expect to see versus what they saw.
Yet another job I could never do. I'd need to be medicated.
Also, it cracks me up everytime I hear someone on CNN use the word "blogosphere."
Tivo/DVR alert -- you have to manually record TDS/Colbert tonight, because it's a special.
NBC is saying Cardin beat Steele. Cute commercials and all. And with that? I'm turning the fucking tv off. I'll wake up to the gubenatorial results in the morning. That's soon enough.
Dems defeat 3 incumbant Repugs in Indiana. That's a bunch of awesome.
TDS/Colbert has
Dan Rather
on tonight to commentate. (Spoiler fonted for those wanting to be surprised.)
