My state is so yellow-dog that it felt really weird, having to look for the gubernatorial candidate of my choice in a list of four (he's second alphabetically, by last name). I was like, but the Democrat is always at the top! (Because he's always the incumbent.)
This is also the state where the Green-Rainbow candidate for governor was "smeared" by being called a big fat dyke last week on local talk radio. The guy what did it: fired. The audience: outraged. The candidate: "Well, I mean, yeah, I'm fat and a lesbian. And?"
