Considering my relationship with early mornings, I think after work is going to win by default.
Yeah, I'd thought of going early so that if I had to do another exposed vote (cause I'm optimistic like that,) there'd be a slight chance in hell they'd do something about it and then I could spend the day full of righteous rage and feeling all heroic or some shit.
And then I remembered the lines were longer in the morning and I hate them anyway.
Mornings defeat activism.
Do you have a wired phone or just a cordless?
Both.
Why bother voting? We're at or near the Hubbert Peak, and it's all rapidly downhill from here as we lose our cheap energy sources.
It's possible I shouldn't see documentaries recommended by vegans. Though the filmmaker himself was cool.
I have a feeling the lines in my district will be pretty short all day, since we essentially had our election back in September. (There being approximately three Republicans in the entire borough.) I don't even know if there are any questions or propositions on the ballot this year.
I'm going to vote before work, and just be late, since I might have plans tomorrow that keep me out too late to vote after.
Of course, now I'm going to be sorely disappointed when the voting machine doesn't make the Law and Order "chunk chunk" noise.

Dude, I'll bet that would get people faster to the polls than Arizona's million dollars. (Go erika, choose erika!)
I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to vote before or after work. Considering my relationship with early mornings, I think after work is going to win by default.
I can't bear to take that chance, waiting all day for whatever crisis would keep me stuck at work and out of my voting district.
Since you're discussing voting machines, have folks here read Black Box Voting? It's certainly interesting research, especially the section on how the Diebold machines create a secondary copy of the voting data in order to tally votes.
Huh. Ocean Spray is setting up a cranberry bog outside my building this week.
Huh.
A cranberry bog? C'est quoi ca?
ME: That is so a shout-out!
Of course I'm a freak and miss the productive typewriter clack, too.they should make that an option, on word processors.
See, there's next to no chance that there will be a crisis keeping me at the office past 4:30pm, whereas it's highly likely I'll hit snooze a whole bunch tomorrow morning.
