Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, and that was a great picture, Lisa.

Do you have a wired phone or just a cordless? Make sure there's battery backup for the base if you want it to work when the power's out. A lot of them don't have this.

The last time we had a big blackout, I didn't know, because I only had the cordless phone, and it wasn't ringing. When I started figuring it out, I just plugged in my backup phone.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Of course, right now I'm at work and listening to Killing Joke, so I hope no one holds my power ballad addiction against me.

Well, "Love Like Blood" is as close to a power ballad as I enjoy, so there's that.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Kathy, yes please! I need to do some election homework today/tonight.

Actually, Illinois doesn't have any statewide issues on the ballot this time around. I've got the Sunday Trib's list of candidates/issues for Cook and the surrounding counties at home, including a few local issues that I was unaware of until I read them. I'll post them when I get home tonight, OK? If you're still registered in Wisconsin, I can give you the list of ballot issues for them now.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Right now, I can not express enough regret that my iPod is at home. I could be RAWKIN right now.

That's right! Playing right now: "I'll be All Right Without Yoooo!" Next up: Fleetwood!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

YouTube?

Totally. The Styx videos on YouTube alone...

I wonder if "Separate Ways" is up. That's such an amusingly bad video.

Edit: Score! There's air piano two seconds in!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I wonder if "Separate Ways" is up. That's such an amusingly bad video.

Yeah, I posted a link to that yesterday. And revelled in the badness.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Is anybody else watching Brothers & Sisters on Sunday nights?

I have a car-crash relationship to that show.

Damn.

Dana, it's back in my head now thanks to you!

I just got it out, too.
