Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Well, so much for not having an earworm this morning.

IOjustaspainfulN, does anyone around here have RA? A friend of mine was diagnosed a few months ago, and now is having some kind of reaction/new symptom/completely unrelated problem with her feet. They're burning and swelling and causing her all kinds of grief. Any thoughts from the hivemind?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

hey, I was deafened this weekend by drunk rugby players belting it out at the top of their lungs. Share my pain!

Better that than Journey.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I fucking love Every Rose Has Its Thorn, even though I'm pretty sure the official title has "It's," which hurts me.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm so glad I gave up my land line. NO robocalls from any politician.

I got a lot of hang ups this weekend. I suspect that they were political calls. no auto calls though.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We have had one autocall today. I was expecting more.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got a lot of hang ups this weekend. I suspect that they were political calls.

Why would those be hangups? I ask because I've been getting more than a few lately, and I'd love to believe they're about to stop.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am the anti-Cashmere, in that my lack of land line, and therefore robocalls, makes me sad.

PS: HOLD ON TO THAT FEE-LAY-EE-AY-N!!!!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I got a lot of hang ups this weekend. I suspect that they were political calls. no auto calls though.

For a second, I was thinking something else when you mentioned "auto calls."

Hello - I'm the new Chevy Impala. Have you seen me lately? I totally have a more powerful engine than that Ford 500....
